Each totem pole is artist signed and hand carved from yellow cedar in Ketchikan, Alaska.

Each totem includes a story card describing the legends that they represent.

Sea Woman looked toward the sea as she wept. She was afraid that death had completed the vows she had kept. Weeks had passed since her husband had gone.

He told Sea Woman he would return the next dawn. She waited and waited, standing still by the shore. As each day departed, sorrow tore at her heart's core.

Sea Woman asked the wise owl to look. When owl returned he said, "I'm sorry, I could not find the path your husband took."

She became desperate and asked the Orca whale. But, he to came back with nothing. He to had failed.

As Sea Woman looked out towards the sea, Raven swooped down with news to answer her plea. You have found my husband, please tell me its true. Raven said yes, now let me tell you. He was taken there by Mother Nature's hand. My vision said he will return in one season. That is why he has taken so long. That is the reason.

Sea Woman's eyes were wide. She never did blink. When she bent down and kissed Raven's kind beak.
